    2.1 and tri-disaster

    Now that 2.1 gives summoners bliz II (and takes away thunder which I am pretty upset about) why the heck would we ever cast tri-disaster? It costs...5 times more and does less damage. Ok, the bind is shorter and it's ranged. But seriously, why would I ever use it? This is the most confusing change I've ever seen to a class.

    Its um, for damage, tri-disaster is a ... disaster.

    For an aoe ranged snare its...well its the only in the the game (aside from uh, shadowbind, which is not aoe)

    Its...pretty bad, I would agree.

    And yes blizz is actually going to be our AoE (after bane and miasma II, sflare) now.

    Which um...well actually I guess would be the silver lining. That we can throw away that godawful tri-disaster.

    Except for Freeze, which also now does 100 potency and got reduced to 3s from 3.5s cast (so only 0.5s over the gcd).
    Lols, no silver lining there.

    I guess your silver lining was that you're getting rid of it. Mah bad.

    Yea I'm pretty much grasping at straws here...I dunno.

    2.1 turned out to NOT be the patch that got me back into the game =(

    tbh though, what is most saddening is the nerf to leves for tradecrafts.

    Haha its like monks one ilm punch, here monks heres a enchant remover skill!, just so u guys know the only enchant you can remove is dulluhans in AK.

    Some things are just... impossible to explain.

    Yea but I saw this right after:
    EXP awarded upon completing certain tradecraft leves has been increased.
    I may be wrong, but if those "certain" are a lot then they may just be lessening the gap between HQ and normal quality.

    Also new ones have been added, so maybe 50+ leves? That'd be cool.

    Tri-disaster lasts a lot longer than Blizzard II and can be used more reliably to snare large packs. Ever try to snare a dozen or so mobs that are chasing someone using Bliz 2? And while BLM has Freeze, the fact SMN has it too is still valuable for SMN. Would you complain if you were given BRD songs because BRD already has those buffs?

    well...tridisaster or blizzard2...both binds both dmg,one is aoe centered and one is aoe from distance,i think we will have to completely modify our rotations and gamestyle in a closer casting,so we could use miasma2 and a blizzard sometime in our rotation,but on most bosses we cant do it easily
    and i think you are all missing a big point about binds
    ShadowFlare now BREAK binds and sleeps,should be tested if its broken only in "first apply" when u cast it or during all SF duration,so if u have to bind with tri disaster stuffs like plumes of garuda you cant use SF wich is very usefull to slow and great aoe dmg
