    Also, you can already Swiftcast Stoneskin.

    Currently there are no mechanics in Coil that require Benediction, because if there were, groups would just stack WHM.

    Skills like Benediction are tools for when a tank makes a mistake; any experienced group will have enough healer-tank synergy to stay alive no matter how brutal incoming damage is, and as the level of your gear increases it becomes easier to do so.

    It wouldn't balance WHM because the way your version of Stoneskin works, it would be a nerf. Putting a cooldown on Stoneskin means not being able to use it during important damage spikes, like against Dreadnaughts on Turn 4 of Coil. Even though Stoneskin can shield for around 2,000 damage depending on tank's HP, the shield is brought down almost instantly just by two hits of bosses' auto attacks in Coil.

    The reason it has a long cast time in the first place is because it's meant to be used preventatively; you're at a disadvantage if you're locking yourself into 3 second casts while tank is taking damage. It's much more mana efficient to use Cure I, or even Cure II, as it has a faster cast time and costs the same amount of mana.(266 mana @ level 50)

    The only change I'd personally like to see made to stoneskin would be a whm trait to make it a group buff when out of combat. Purely a quality of life thing to save the thumb twiddling whilst people wait on me casting buffs. Shielding defines the Sch and I'd rather it stayed that way to keep the two jobs distinct of each other.

    As far as Medica II.1 goes, I'm on the fence till I've tried it on T5. If it's still fast enough to get my group topped up in time for a conflag when coupled with a succor + precast then I'm fine with it, the longer duration will make it better for for steady chip damage such as ADS2 whilst it'll be a win some/lose some arrangement for middling AE such as Titan stomps.

    I suspect you'll find that much of the whm anger is down to Rouse > Whispering dawn providing a stronger AE regen than us for 0 mp (albeit on a minute cool down), in many peoples eyes that's akin to us getting a stronger mana free shield than sch. It doesn't make sense since it isn't really our role. Of course when you consider that a good portion of end game Schs tend to lean towards Selene it's a bit of a moot point. Doesn't stop it being a little annoying though!

    idk why people think cure 3 is that good in the patch, 8y is not that wide, especially when you're used to 20y for medica 2, but the nerf is not bad. I probably would never use cure 3 still unless everyone was very close to each other and it had the proc from cure 2. It will be nice for the primals, as most people stack for things like Sacred Soil.
