I'm a SMN and never used thunder anyway. It was a hinderance to my rotation TBH. Plus, now I get blizzard 2 to add to Tri-disaster. Master of binds? Yes please!

Since it is required in Turn 5, you know, the hardest content in the game? Wouldn't expect you to know that though.Since when does the rate of the limit break bar increasing matter?
Limit breaks are not even needed at all, they are a crutch for badly geared players and mistakes.
Sure it helps in certain situations, but in certain situations you can do more damage faster by bringing a certain setup of DPS than a limit break can even do throughout the entire fight.

[ sarcasm ] I lead my static as a SMN and they all just messaged me to say they were moving on because I don't have thunder anymore... OH THE HUMANITY [ /sarcasm ]

The sky is falling is seemingly accurate.

Yes, bad players do generally think they are doing just fine.
But, when you willingly choose to not do your job to the best of your ability because doing so would be a 'hindrance', hate to break it to you sweetie, but you're doing it 'wrong'.

If you weren't using Thunder you were gimping your own damage and won't notice a difference. Now we that did use thunder are getting gimped and will notice a difference. My DoT ticks are 24% weaker, rip
Not using thunder was a hindrance to your damage output, to the tune of roughly 10%. Bind still has diminishing returns, so tri-disaster will now go from situational to useless with the higher cast time (or less situational, I guess you can still cast tri-disaster from a distance). There's no good reason to leave thunder out of your rotation as a summoner.
