Why so mad?

I don't get all the anger from the patch notes, maybe im just dumb.

Bards got nerfed, I'm a bard and I don't care. I could quite often dish out more damage than a well geared DRG which is silly. I imagine bard enmity will also go down (be happy tanks). I'm looking forward to w/e other job archer can turn into maybe it's an actual DPS oriented job? If not then so what? I can play another job. Lots of fun ones out there. The changes will make endgame a bit different and seem less stale at least for a week or two even without the new content.

FC housing prices, "its too high" again...so what. the prices go down and it's meant as a goal for an FC it's a long term investment and requires teamwork to combine funds. As has been mentioned already the prices will go down and new land will be added. I personally don't care because i'm not putting money into an FC house that i may be leaving at some point in the future (already left an FC). On top of that it's not player housing.

If anyone should be mad I think its crafters who will have to wait for FC housing to really kick in before selling any furniture. That and no other equipment to craft (that I could see)

Sell what to whom ? Only a few guilds will be able to afford housing (or will bother at all in the first place) and it's pretty safe assumption they will have enough crafters among the members to cover crafting of the house fluff.

Farming-loving SE might have put ingenious ideas in place - like requiring 2000 pcs. of some profession to change one side of a small wall or something with each piece requiring 125 tomestones of some kind to craft. Then yea, crafting might "flourish" after a bit

I did say it would be a while before housing kicked in and could become profitable. I hadnt thought of them making some of the mats need tomestones, that could possibly lift those item prices again.

Well you joined a legacy server and it doesn't look like you have a legacy character, so that was your own fault.

If your FC wants housing so bad join a different server, now you may ask why should you even have to in this first place cause all this is unfair. I would simply point out you joined a server to which the economy was already screwed over but most players decided it didn't matter. Some fore thought would have went a long way.

Legacy served stablished economy ENDED at the point where SE stolen 90% of server money, making a character with 20 mill (earned farming and crafting for 2 years) become 2mill, while all prices remained equal.

If wasn't fair enough now housing prices on legacy servers rise to 9 digit.

I don't know if you realize that even spending all the money gained for 2 years of work will still be in a far worse starting point than a non-legacy who saved for 3 months.

If i had 1 billion gil and put in money to the FC i would have no control over the house. it's not yours, its the FC's unless the FC is yours then you can do whatever you like with it. And as far as I know the bonuses for having an FC house aren't in yet? so it's purely cosmetic HQ at the moment?

I said put in money not flat out payed for the whole thing (my bad i wasnt clear) either way even if you put a majority of the funds being a member you still don't really control the house. Because it's a shared house.
