    No Audio, no sound in game.

    No sound, background music, ambient, or otherwise, is working in game or start up menu. I have checked all the usual suspects for this problem. Sound is turned on in both my computer and in the game's configurations both in and out of game. DirectX and audio device drivers are all up to date. No idea what to do.

    HP dv6-2043us entertainment notebook
    Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
    AMD M8806 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

    same here ever since the last patch 1.17b all in-game sounds been dead.
