If there are new generous ways to get gil

I think the forums might have egg on their faces.

All we saw was that gil will increase (in the patch notes). We have NO CLUE how much gil generating methods there will be in this game after 2.1. I mean i get the initial frustration because we only have the past to compare the rate of monetary acquisition. But maybe, just maybe, there might be ways to introduce gil to the average player (read non-crafter/gather).

I mean in the patch notes they didn't use words like "lucrative" "valuable" "over-flowing your coffer" and such. But on my FC personal website, the typical player is in full Acceptance mode: "here is my contribution towards a medium plot. " 700K. on Excalibur. Not legacy.

More crafting recipes, more things in demand, PvP recipes, people needing materia melded...anyone with a 50 craft is gonna be rolling in it.

Yeah, if you're an "average" player who hasn't delved into crafting much (i.e - me! I only have a level 21/22 Weaver but still managed to make a few thousands...) it might be a bit hard to get gil... so... get crafting! It's fun!

Honestly, as someone vocally appalled by the housing costs, I'm HOPING to be wrong when my first and every beastman daily awards me 50k gil apiece, every day... but I'm not expecting it.

Hopefully the Beast Tribe Quests and the Treasure Hunting will also be reliable ways to try and obtain gil to help with generating new gil into the economy as well as allowing FC's to generate gil so that they can buy a house if they want one.

Be able to craft donation cups. By equiping it as a off-hand item people will be able to donate you gil.

Hyperinflation would be just as bad in my opinion and would not help the failing in game economy at all.

More methods to make gil would be good, but the worth of gil should remain roughly as it is.

I think he means he is not Legacy, but on Excalibur. So, assuming his FC is purchasing the fifth-class, jesus christ why is there literally an ocean of roaches and feces mating by our house, tier plot, it is 75 million gil. Which I suppose isn't the end of the world, as long as all 183 members contribute.
