Why don't people stick with the healer they started with?

dual SCH can do many things more than just stacking shied tho
I have done contents other than coil with dual SCH already and I thinks ppl give too little credit to dual SCH

No one said dual sch wasn't doable. It's just harder than when you go whm/sch or whm/whm. We don't do things as effectively together and it's just a more troublesome experience in general. BUT dual sch is still a viable combination just not ideal.

I don't know if I will or will not switch. I'm highly leaning towards Scholar right now. I like to heal in general. I enjoy it on both classes. I just have so much invested into Whitemage that it is going to take a little for me to catch up.

Here is my reason for switching. People can play one way. To play their favorite job. Or people can play another to be the best at what they do. I'm playing a role as healer. Not a whitemage in particular. I want to be the best healer I can be.

I find this response funny because really nothing was handed to us, we are no different than two months ago, our pets have yet to have been fixed. We just took the time to learn the class and play it well. Plus if you can easily heal up a raid as a scholar then I commend you, but I don't see that happening.

I changed from WHM to SCH two weeks ago 'cause we saw it as more optimal than dual WHM on t5. I think both are great - even after the patch.

I find it much more effective than dual WHM, a little less than WHM+SCH combo, it just you need more coorperative. that's why I thinks ppl gave them too little credits

Selene is only better now because whispering dawn cant be controlled and is derped at the beginning of any pull basically. I personally can't wait till the patch so Eos becomes my go to pet for all things, and Selene is the minor one for utility. Right not i hardly touch Eos, and when i do she isn't controlled in any sense of the word I just let her do her thing, which for the most part isn't that bad, but i want to control her heals and aoe heals.

Do you seriously not know you can keep Selene and Eos both using only Embrace if they're on steady? Sure they come off of it when you use a skill manually but they can't blow a CD for a skill you just used.
