Parley on the Sagolii Bug

I tried a number of times to complete this class quest for Paladin but none of the enemies were killable. It was not until I recieved the Echo that i was able to kill the healer and then get on with the story. It was not possible to do anything at all for all of them were healing themselves over and over. Please check this on Leviathan server.

using a Win XP SP3 system that has run the game fine until now.
Tried five times to do this class story without success until i advanced to the Echo.
