Disappointed in sustain change

Sustain worked 100% the way I want it to. It chunks a little bit of your hp to keep your fairy rolling through dot or light mob damage. Not only is it efficient, but it fits perfectly in the scholar toolkit of mp conservation, since it is essentially free heals. Now that sustain is being changed to consume mp, why shouldn't I just cast physick on my fairy to bypass the 10s HoT? I'm not sure what the point is in changing the dynamic of a very nice utility and making it obsolete

IIRC, Sustain is off the GCD (correct me if I am wrong...).

I am assuming they thought it was too easy for us to keep sustain up on our pets. Really I never once thought "I better not use Sustain because of my HP total"

Never? Not once? Have you healed AV on SCH? Have you done Titan on SCH? I might believe you have used it sparingly but never having used it is really hard to believe if you have done those two things particularly.

Think I used it during a SCH quest at some point because I let Eos tank everything.

But yeah during Titan HM I rarely place my fairy and when I succor she gets healed up anyway.
