Jewelry Options in 2.1

Tremor Earrings (90) - Drop in The Navel (Extreme)
Inferno Bangle (Wrists) (90) - Drop in The Bowl of Embers (Extreme)
Vortex Ring (90) - Drop in The Howling Eye (Extreme)

As a Dragoon, going over the list, I'm annoyed to say that they did NOT give Dragoons any Jewelry... There is no 'of Maiming' (Dragoon) jewelry. And no, it's not 'of Slaying' (Monk/Dragoon), it's 'of Striking' (Monk).

Fending (Tank)
Striking (Monk)
Aiming (Bard)
Casting (Black Mage / Summoner)
Healing (White Mage / Scholar)

That's what is in those chests... No Maiming (Dragoon) Accessories. I suppose they want us to use the Striking (Monk) ones, like we roll on the Peltast and don't get our own Hetairo Jewelery in AK...

So they should totally make the Darklight Striking accessories unavailable to dragoons? Unhappy that you can't get 2 rings of the same origin like the other classes? They are just trying to avoid a bigger table, so people can have a higher chance to get their loot. They could've easily renamed these accessories to be anything but "striking", would that make you happy?

However if you are talking about the upcoming striking accessories to be limited for monks only, then you have a point, but I highly doubt they would have forgot a class for every single accessory

They made a real load of typos and awful copy pastes in the update notes, I mean grossly much. Its very peculiar maiming is missing from everything, at this point I'd almost count on it actually being in the game. Its probably over a 50% chance you've just caught a mistake.

I'm saying they didn't add 'Maiming' (Dragoon Stat) Accessories according to the Patch Notes which lists all the rest. Yes, I suppose I could get the Allagan Maiming and the Myth Slaying Accessories, but... From reading those, unless we're thrown onto the Striking as a Need Roll (like we are with the Peltast gear in AK), there is no reason for me as a Dragoon to run the Extreme Primals and Ultima's Bane Trial more than once to get the items from the Extreme Primals to trade for the Holy Lance.

Except for the fact that they have Maiming gear listed for Wolve's Den (i90, Rank 30) (although again, the Jewelery is missing) and it only applies to EACH JEWELERY piece. We get the Allagan i90 Jewelery in Coil that is Maiming for our Needs (but everyone can equip, only DRG Need Roll).

Yeah, I figured that... an 8-man version of the Peltast Jewelry... with a hugely powerful boss guarding it... sigh. lol

In Coil DRG can't need of striking by the way.

That's because in Coil there is a MAIMING SET.

There is no MAIMING SET in the EXTREME MODES or Ultima's Bane, nor in the PVP Accesories.

You know what bothers me? Ultima Hard Mode drops rings AND necklaces. 1/16 chance to get the piece you want and I've been having trouble clearing it consitantly enough to farm. >< I've downed it a few times but to spend the whole hour isn't efficient. I guess i'll just wait till everyone has more experience.

That's because in Coil there is a MAIMING SET.

There is no MAIMING SET in the EXTREME MODES or Ultima's Bane, nor in the PVP Accesories.

dragoon can need @ striking primae accessories and most of them have perfect stats
