Best Patch Notes from any game since EVER!!

Sorry, but a few typos and errors don't take anything away from the frankly staggering amount of content they're adding.

Not saying it does, but frankly it's nothing to write home about either. Like I said, I've seen larger content patches in other MMOs, not sure why people are treating this as the holy grail of content patches. For example, Eve's Apocrypha update utterly dwarfs what's coming in 2.1

Most people aren't saying this is the greatest update ever, they're celebrating the idea that they're getting a lot of new content for a game they really enjoy.

The fact that one thing is larger doesn't make another thing insignificant.

I like that we're finally getting detailed patch notes instead of "some ability was maybe changed somehow."

But... the notes themselves are kind of poor. So many typos, awkward phrasing, and things like the "ability" Marauder getting its recast reduced. Or the PLD pants getting changed from 69 def/35 m.def to... 69 def/35m.def. Or apparently those same pants being equipable by LNC and DRG before.

I understand it must've been a lot to translate but it's very confusing in some parts.

Oh! I just realized what that is.

In cutters, theres a pair of pants called "Paladin Trousers" or something like that, and its WORSE in stats than previous gear, yet for some reason its green quality, and the name has "Paladin" in it.
It cant be NEEDed on by PLDs, and its only decent for DRGs. (Unlike the body armor, which is good for both DRG and tanks.)

Enjoyed everything in this patch. Some people are unhappy granted. I think a lot of people are confused about the housing prices and how that system works. I've looked into it a fair bit and I can see it's fair. Of course logical arguments never trumps peoples feelings apparently. Hopefully once it's in the game and they see people start purchasing properties there will no longer be an issue and peoples concerns will be muted.

For the nerfs, some minor things but overall a good balance, again we'll see how it comes into play. Really happy with all the new content for me to enjoy.

New story quests, New dailies, mounts and minions as rewards, end game content, pvp etc etc. Got plenty to enjoy.

I agree. I just finished reading it and it is very detailed. Also a lot of stuff being introduced that i knew nothing about.

On that note, I'd also disagree with your claim of "frankly staggering amount of content", 2 new dungeons and 1 pvp arena, some daily quests and a lolhousing system that the vast majority of the playerbase won't even participate in, is not what I'd consider "staggering".

At least not in a good way.
