Hello, I'd like to ask one simple question.

When there were some people asking for less lockouts on endgame everyone answered that they shouldn't be equipped in BiS so fast. That they should enjoy the game and wait for their gear etc..

Isn't housing exactly the same? If you don't mind waiting for your BiS a few weeks/months you shouldn't mind waiting for your FC house. ,)

P.S.: Smallest land on legacy server costs 8mil Gil, that means that small FC (lets say 24 people) needs to donate 333K Gil per each member. It isn't that much and if your argument is that no one is going to donate that much maybe you just dont deserve/need the housing. ,)

BIS items are generally just little boosts that aren't required, or trophies that show your achievement.

Housing is something that's more like base content. It's something that will make FCs feel more complete, something that will potentially bring together and make them feel more personal. In that way, its much more essential.

Well in my opinion i70 x i90 is bigger boost than some house which doesn't even give any special boost to their owners. But that's just my point of view.

Well, we don't know what the Garuda Couches, Ifrit Wall Lamps, and Titan Outdoor Lamps will do. We had heard (rumors) that there was going to be items that used the Primal Drops that would give boosts to the members of the FC.

For the second time, it would be 300k by your math, not 333k. Please try to get it right from now on.

For the second time, not all legacy starts at 8m, my server for example starts at 20m and its not the worst.

I implore you to investigate the topic in question before you comment on it so much. Your question was answered in the other thread by multiple people.

EDIT: I thought the difference is 4M and 8M gil. Not 4M and 20M.

Small FC it's 24 people? In a game with only 8 man content?... You serius? That's a medium size FC. Small FC are groups with less than 2 rosters, let's say 8-15 members.


Those zerg FC with more than 100 members have no sense at all on a game like this. Right now, any company with more than 50 members is already a big one.

Well yes and no. There's a big difference between farming a BiS item that has a % chance at dropping and you have a shot at it once and week versus being forced to grind and grind and grind gil to reach an impossibly ludicrous 335 mil price tag.

It's not about waiting 90 days or whatever, it's the sheer cost of the thing.

Please refer to the server cluster pricing table in the update notes. There are servers where the smallest land plot in the worst (5th class) location cost 40m minimum: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...f3c43828a#item

This is why some people are up in arms. Also note the maximum prices for some of these servers.
