You will be able set it so your members can put money directly in the FC Chest without the need for mail service.

There are still not enough settings on the guild bank even with deposit only.

I am the leader of my guild and I have full access to that bank and can change it when ever I want with what is in game now. If I wanted to I could wait until 100+million was in the bank take it all and walk away with it. Transfer Servers use an alt to force name change and be done with it. No chance I will ever do that been leader in this guild for longer then a 8yrs but it is possible to do.

That possibility tends to not sit well with members, especially newer ones that do not know you as much as older ones.

There is always a risk of theft with a guild bank honestly, but it is best to negate the possibilities of theft by limiting the money holdings in any mmo to any one person, leader included. That way if something does happen you lose say 10-20% of the bank instead of potentially 8-10 months of work saving. The guild bank as is as well as in patch 2.1 has no limits to the withdraw power of the guild leader.

Which makes perfect sense because at the moment all prices are deflationary, and making back that kind of money is very difficult or impossible depending on the amount. This gold sink hole isn't very tempting and just making players look at it and go "you first".

We'll we're up to 4million in our fund so far, with alot of members still coming up with there donation. One member who's been a hardcore crafter since day one donated 2mil himself. We're hoping to raise 30million total. All to be funneled through me. We don't trust the guild bank settings enough. We've located a loop hole which I wont mention here where if someone figured it out could remove the gil deposited into the gbank. So the gbank isn't an option.
