Maybe we can look forward to yet another apology 'letter' from Yoshi, with feigned tears and everything.

They're beginning to become a bit of a quarterly tradition.

The sad thing is, Square will end up winning back quite a few people after everyone rallies behind Yoshi and says that "He understands us! He's a gamer! Unlike every other company he cares about his customers! C'mon guys, let's give it up for Yoshi-P!".

The crocodile tears meant nothing before, and they'll mean nothing this time. I don't want apologies, or tears, or promises.. i want them to actually -do- something; Actions speak far louder than words after all, and unfortunately they've been shouting all the wrong things lately.

More NA/EU players read the forums in any given day. Every third NA/EU player, though, feels they have to make a new thread instead of just consolidating their opinions into one common thread.

I'd say that's more because a lot of threads on the English forums get derailed (which, ironically, i'm contributing to in this post. >.>) or arguments on the issue start, so people think that making a new topic might be better than putting a comment at the end of a thread that won't be read.

People will always say it's the "minority" if it's something they disagree with; A lot of people attempt to marginalize every argument without even realizing it. :P

Seriously. If they dropped prices they might even get MORE money out of circulation. With more people able to afford it, more people will drop money on the houses. Rather than have a 325million gil mansionv(the price on my server that I know of) that one fc on the server has, if it was 60million maybe plenty of FC's could afford it eventually, getting more money out.

Yeah, I'll expect the prices to go down later. The patch might launch with these prices, but there's no way they stay this way. Only the biggest and richest guilds will be able to afford them, which can't be ideal. I also expect prices to jump up on lots of things, which undermines the price caps the game already has in it for things like normal quality gear.

I find the white knights responses on this sad, do these people live in the same world as the rest of us?
Do they have jobs what person with a life has that kind of GAME money?
Do they play the game for fun or to justify their lack of real life?
It seems no matter what SE does they will defend it, I just feel bad for people who do not understand this is a game meant for fun.
What happens to the white knights when these games close cause they lose the player base needed to pay for the GAME to run?

I think the high land price is due to Yoshi trying to make the server's poor. I said even before patch notes it would be 100 mil for 1 but wow I was off base its even worse than I expected.

It is one thing to remove gil from the economy but it is another thing to steal gil from player's and thats exactly what this is stealing gil from players. Lets not forget all those rmt I have black listed are still in game this is the wrong way to remove gil from the economy.
