Yeah, I like the game so far, but those prices are unreal. I'm glad the JAP playerbase agrees with this, so we have better chances to get this modified soon.

Jesus, a lot more Japanese players must read the forums. 600+ likes in a day is more than 6 times the amount of likes a popular post gets on the English forums.
It because they are actually discussing in the same thread while EN forums have 100 threads about the same stuff.
More NA/EU players read the forums in any given day. Every third NA/EU player, though, feels they have to make a new thread instead of just consolidating their opinions into one common thread.
The sad thing is, Square will end up winning back quite a few people after everyone rallies behind Yoshi and says that "He understands us! He's a gamer! Unlike every other company he cares about his customers! C'mon guys, let's give it up for Yoshi-P!".
The crocodile tears meant nothing before, and they'll mean nothing this time. I don't want apologies, or tears, or promises.. i want them to actually -do- something; Actions speak far louder than words after all, and unfortunately they've been shouting all the wrong things lately.
I'd say that's more because a lot of threads on the English forums get derailed (which, ironically, i'm contributing to in this post. >.>) or arguments on the issue start, so people think that making a new topic might be better than putting a comment at the end of a thread that won't be read.
People will always say it's the "minority" if it's something they disagree with; A lot of people attempt to marginalize every argument without even realizing it. :P

Yeah and according to the English forums, likes mean nothing and only the minority of people playing FFXIV ARR reads forums at all. It's pretty much in agreement considering they have the highest prices - Which also contradicts English forums saying SE showing "favoritism and treating non Japanese players like second class citizens."
