You tend to "speak for the majority" when it comes to certain things: Cue calling people uneducated because they disliked Windows 8.
I promise you there were many people if not the entire server complaining about the prices - In game. You know, the shoutfests in Mor dohna about it? Let me guess:People on the forums are less than one percent of the community.
"People in mor dohna are only 1% of the player base"?
It will only drop to 50% of that - Which means it will never fall below 50% and that is the permanent fixture (never below), Per Square Enix. Not what I'm seeing. I keep seeing the "625 million" number tossed out as though that's the price everything will cost forever.
Considering as of yesterday I see Wine port continually crowded with people decked out in Coil and T5 stuff as well as seeing it all around Mor Dohna? Plenty of people do it. One of my alts on Balmung I see quite a few doing it as well. I severely hope you didn't just state that SE isn't releasing progressive content is a good thing. Almost every other MMORPG would normally get kicked to the curb if their developers did the same thing. How many people are farming T5? How many people are doing Coil at all?
Face it: SE is mostly playing catch up, this is the only reason there weren't progressive content added, if everything released on time, they'd have done the next tier of CT (progress) then next tier of coil and on, not reversed.
Also, "there's plenty of content" yes, but most of it is 1 time use content unless you want gear for vanity. I don't see people falling over themselves wanting to do Side content like Cutters/Aurum/DH (after rank up, hence: one time) or the storyline stuff.
Why do you think SE went out of their way to add Duty Roulette? They're trying to get people to actively go back to content that serves no purpose after your first 30 hours.
