    Do you think it might be a typo?

    Considering that some people noted that some patch notes were a little off, do you you think the housing prices are also a typo? A mistranslation? ( yen to US dollars maybe?)

    No. Yoshida mentioned himself in the Live Letter the lowest plot on the cheapest server group was 4m gil. Unless of course someone been feeding him typo info.

    Maybe it's like his 14% --> 0,14%, and means 4,000,000 -> 40,000 and 625,000,000 -> 6,250,000. But that seems a bit cheap to me, so I don't think so...

    This whole housing issue reminds me of server issues where EVERYONE was complaining. Perhaps this will be resolved over time.
