Could someone better explain this? How are casters supposed to fight against a Monk? Or a Bard??

By running away. I have a feeling that while characters are in motion you won't be able to hit them, unlike world of warcraft. There are practically no snares in this game.
Equanimity skill. Surecast. Beein protected by a bard / knockback by something if the paladin in front don't have the knockback imunity on (since not a single skill prevent of knockback apart that). You know, teamwork !
Sprint.

Gonna enjoy picking on casters on my bard.
Healers were already going to be first targeted, the 100% interrupt even with Equanimity (10 seconds) is brutal:
3 stars in this will be necessary but look at the recast time (300 seconds). Fights will probably end fast though.Allows casting without interruption by attacks.
Duration: 10s
Enhanced Equanimity: Shortens recast time to 300 seconds.
Enhanced Equanimity II: Extends duration to 20 seconds.

I don't think the interruption will happen with equanimity. Well let's wait and see
10 seconds, thats a frag.300 second cooldown on Equanimity. Thats 5 minutes.
You should have it double
Surecast
Recast Time: 30.0 seconds
Next spell is cast without interruption.
Duration: 10s
Additional Effect: 15% chance Surecast will have no recast time
