Summoner got destroyed this patch

There is literally no reason to play SMN anymore, the only reason we were able to do comparable dps to BLM is because of the amount of dots we have going while being able to do our crappy ruin spam. Losing thunder is huge. Might as well just play BLM. Not to mention the virus nerf, which makes smn even more useless. Ever since the game came out I started with SMN and stuck with it but getting a straight dps nerf is ridiculous. Not to mention my BIS list got completely fucked. I have to change almost all of my gear now because of the allagan boots change.

As a BLM, I'm basically going to have to stop using it in 8 man content, as it'd devalue the SMN and SCH's Virus's.

Except the only real fight right now is T5 and you only need the STR part of the virus which a BLM/WHM can bring.
