I can tell you right now, with absolute certainty, that we will be able to use Guard and Obey at the same time.

As things are now, for example, if you set your pet (Egi or Fairy) to Obey and Steady, any order will switch the pet to Obey and Guard, which is annoying especially for Scholar.

The patch notes simply state they will remain in Steady if you give them an order, which is what should have happened in the first place.
