Wait, so treasure maps are on an 18 hour cooldown?

So, there's a line of red text in the treasure maps section in the patch notes mentioning an 18 hour cooldown. I could have sworn I'd read somewhere that there were degrees of ownership of a map leading to allowing a player to do them all day, just not have more than one active at a time or some such.

Are we really confined to an 18-hour cooldown on treasure maps? That's kinda ridiculous.

Like, what if we fish, harvest, and mine seperate ones?

It means you can only FIND a map every 18 hours. If you get a map from say Botany, you won't be able to get another for 18 hours. If you get a bunch, you can do them all in a short period, just can't gather them up that quick.

I mean, I know that's an option and all... but I leveled all 3 gatherers to 50 so I would not have to buy "From the land" items.

Unfortunately only one item found per 18 hours, unless you make an alt, level it to 15, pick a gatherer class and level it to 50 as well @___@ Shame, Treasure Hunt seems fun. I wish they just made the probability of finding a map while gathering extremely rare without the artificial lockouts. On the other hand, so much of the stuff in ARR is (or will with this new patch) revolve around artificial lockouts :/
