You do realize 625 mil is for best large lot on the JP server only?
Na servers are half that.

The actual price doesn't really matter, it's still absurd on Legacy servers. Everyone's gil count (1.0 players included) on those servers isn't as absurd, I'd have to guess.

Plus, I'm not opposed to accepting 623-625 mils either for undisclosed purposes. One or two mil up or down doesn't really matter

youre talking without knowing, you dont play on the Japanese legacy server so you dont know if getting 625mil there is easy or hard, also houses are luxury features, wont increase your damage or anything, its just to show off, getting the 20~10 mil house doesnt sound all that hard, we poor people can also get money from the rich asses who get to buy it selling them furniture.
if every FC could get the top house they would have to get some mad extra data centers to handle it, i think limiting it with gil is not that bad.

for cheap houses wait for the individual housing patch. wich they will surely need big server upgrade to pull off, give 'em some time.

Still 312.5 million on the big NA Legacy servers. 25 million for the least poverty small lot, 20 million for the smallest, filthiest lot they can find. Houses meant for plebeians, which is odd, considering you'd need like 30 of them to afford the smallest, dingiest house. Can you even fit that many in one of those?
