I think the forums might have egg on their faces.

All we saw was that gil will increase (in the patch notes). We have NO CLUE how much gil generating methods there will be in this game after 2.1. I mean i get the initial frustration because we only have the past to compare the rate of monetary acquisition. But maybe, just maybe, there might be ways to introduce gil to the average player (read non-crafter/gather).

I mean in the patch notes they didn't use words like "lucrative" "valuable" "over-flowing your coffer" and such. But on my FC personal website, the typical player is in full Acceptance mode: "here is my contribution towards a medium plot. " 700K. on Excalibur. Not legacy.
