Large House on small plot of land?

well.. while everyone is bitching about the absurd prices for a plot of land there is one question that i have?

I did read the patch notes like 3 times now but cant exactly say if it will be possible to get a small plot of land and build a large house on it.. it says:

In order to acquire an estate, free companies must first unlock the Land Acquisition entitlement by achieving rank 6. Having done so, examine the placard standing before the empty plot of land you wish to purchase. Its current price will be displayed along with a devaluation timer ...
"The number of outdoor furnishings that can be placed is dependent on plot size:
-Small: 20
-Medium: 30
-Large: 40"


it only tells me that i can build less furnishing on a small plot of land. and that the location may suck like 5th class plot 4th class plot etc.
But will it be possible to place any kind of house on like any plot of land?? Like large house on small plot?
Maybe i missed something...

I'm not exactly sure, although I was hoping they'd do something like if you start out with a small house you'd be able to upgrade to a bigger one over time...although I don't know if that will be the case. It'd be easier on my bank though.

I would say, very good point, in both good and bad way tho.... we do have to add the actual house price to that waste amount of money... but, true, we could get a big house on a small land... I would love to have this clarify....

iirc a few months back they mentioned that the size of the plot determined the maximum size house available for that land. if you wanted to upgrade you house from small>large then you would need a bigger plot.

If you look at the permits on the patch notes, Cottage requires a small plot, House requires medium and Mansion requires large. So the answer is no.

well i cant see the list ya talkin about. the only list that appears in the patch notes is this one:

But this one dont show us the price on the houses or the plot of land whic is required to build em. It only tells us how much a 5star small piece or 2nd star large piece of land will cost etc.

It's in the patch notes with everything else. Look at the new items list, there's permits for building a house listed.
