Exactly, I've outclaimed lots of time on them NM's and never botted. There is noway to say someone is claim botting and who isn't, I only found out because I tried joining a LS and they said I had to get that app to join i was like nothnx
thats really sad when they do that too
almost worth outing them on any forum you can to let people know they are cheating it

I am kind of dubious of your claim that an LS requires you to bot to join them. What I can smell here is that there was some LS drama, and you have attempted to come out looking the bigger man by pointing the finger. Just an assumption though, based on years of seeing this daily on forums.
ive seen shells on 11 require it, so i somehow wouldnt doubt it happeningI am kind of dubious of your claim that an LS requires you to bot to join them. Also good lord Vedis, how many 50 crafts?!!? O_O!
100% false. They've never said anything even remotely close to this. Claim bots are actually the easiest bots for them to detect since it requires more than overlay.
^
"Everyone wants to ride on the bus, but no one wants to drive." It was common for HNMLS to require it. Most felt that if you wanted to join b/c of all those HNM drops they were getting, you were gonna have to share the risk and help claim.
The amount of bot sympathizing on the board has reached comic level.
Do you not see the bot clearly walking up to any new target--PC, NPC--anything--trying to attack it? They basically play tennis with it, because it keeps testing if each of them is a coblyn.
It's not that the bot claimed a maidenbug. It's that the bot doesn't care that it's almost dead and won't be getting any sp for it.
They clearly demonstrated a character who automatically walks up to any targetable thing in its area and tries to attack it.
If a GM actually looked at that character's chat logs it would say.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
You cannot attack that target.
The Maidenbug is engaged.
There's one of these in mun tuy, parked in the squirrel room that doesn't have agro spawn in it. Rank 50 lancer. Just straight farms shards, nonstop. Behaves EXACTLY like this, you can go play tennis with it too.
This bot systematically targets, locks on, runs to, and attempts to attack any new targetable character within its field of vision, which is why you can play tennis with them.
I can tell this is a bot. I can even tell which bot they're using.
What, you all can't?
Or you all won't?

It wasn't claimed. If you watch the chat log, you'll see OP's party engaged Bardi near the start of the video, so they couldn't claim the Maidenbug.
The reason why bardi is in the picture is that it lets you mess with these bots and prove what they are by taking an enemy it can claim anywhere you want and make it claim that enemy...and thus you can take them anywhere you want. You can lead them into a high level agro area and kill them by presenting them with enemies that progressively take them further and further from their parking spot. You can face them into a wall so they don't claim anything new until they come back.
Claiming another enemy then presenting bots with hilarious situations where they are ALL about mopping up worthless enemies you already almost killed pretty much proves that the player behind that character is either mentally handicapped or not there.
It's not MPK if there's no player. We should all start posting youtube videos of us killing bots to prove wha they are.
Heck I'm about bored enough to do just that.

only way a gm can find out if it is a bot or not is if they send a /tell to that person to find out if they're at the console playing.
