1) Even though Bardi was engaged, it was still extremely odd that each time they attempted to fight a mob near the bot, the bot suddenly sprung into action to fight what they had been targetting. I would guess what actually happened is the bot's hp got low, it stopped combat but the mob was still active (keeping it's hp from going back up) which seems to be the case, then when it's hp was high enough it went back to the fight.

2) There isn't any latency issue between the player and the bot that is any different than what he has with his party. The bot's movements are uncharacteristic of a player, which you can see the differences easily with the party members in comparison to it. This bot and others do seem to have a distance of engagement that is much longer than players do.

3) The ladybug did appear to be in some strange in-between zone of combat and non combat. It looked like it was stuck to the bot, in active mode, but not fighting and not engaged.

It makes me sort of sad how so many people say they do not care about botting. It just makes you look like you're rushing to their defense. If you really didn't care you wouldn't say anything about it at all or try to defend it. The truth probably is either you or someone you know bots and you would rather dilute yourself into thinking it doesn't matter, it's not a big deal, and it doesn't effect you or other players because you want to stay in a perpetual state of denial about it all and hide behind the facade that it is all just a game. When in reality, the people behind the players are real. We have real goals and real desire for enjoyment and a fair gaming environment. No, things can't be perfect. But embracing cheating even in a fantasy world only encourages it in the real one. I realize it's a game, but does that mean just throw out all morals at the door?

In the real world, whether you are aware of it or not, corruption and ill intent effect you. Don't be naive and think it won't effect you in a game. A fantasy world, where of all places, people should be able to enjoy themselves and be pulled away from the negativity of the real world...and yet so many people rush to the defense of poor morality in order to cheat their way ahead.

People are so self-defeating.
