Said it before that I am more disappointed and sad about it, because of what they told us and what I accidently believed in the end. Plus of it having a special meaning (to me) because of the Goobbue Walls.
Cannot change it anyways, so well /shrug

However, we understand that we have a lot of players would like to see their characters ride on a Goobbue and so maybe bringing in some type of Goobbue for those fans that weren’t with us in legacy, is something we might consider.

His tone implied that the alternate way to get a goobbue would not be a gift like it was in 1.0, rather it would be something you need to work on to earn.

I've got to admit, I was kind of ticked when I saw this, for several reasons already mentioned. You had to have one class at level 30 to get the mount, and it was introduced after subscriptions went into effect. So, my husband and I both subscribed to what we felt was a broken game and put time into leveling (which was a purely unenjoyable grind) just to get our goobbues that we hoped we'd want to use in 2.0. It turned out to be a good decision since we love ARR. I have to admit, it does feel like what was implied to be a unique reward is now devalued.

The new goobbues should be more than just a reskin with a different headpiece and bracers. It should be noticeably smaller than the 1.0 goobbue. Something that makes it instantly recognizable as different.

This is just ridiculous. You're really complaining about this? First, Gobbue mount was NEVER a Legacy bonus. Secondly, when they brought it first to the game, they said THAT gobbue would be around for a limited time. They said nothing about other gobbues.
