I don't get the outrage over housing prices

I see people acting like the sky is falling over housing prices. What, did people really think that they would just be able to casually buy the best housing slots day one? SE has repeatedly said it would be expensive. And yet, on my server leviathian, which is in the mid tier, you can get a day one house for 8mil. Hell, I'm pretty sure my raid group alone could probably afford that if we wanted to, much less our guild. And that's just day one. If we waited a little bit, we could get one for even cheaper. If the top tier housing was cheap, then it wouldn't be special, wouldn't be an achievement.

I think that other than the legacy server pricing, the prices are fine. So you might not be able to buy a large first class plot on tuesday. Suck it up and either buy a cheaper one, or wait a little bit.

Pretty much. Plus they are upset that housing won't be yet another instant gratification token.

I'm happy to see that they are making FC housing an achievement that people are going to have to work together towards if they want the best.

The problems faced by others isn't really a problem to begin with, FC housing never was designed to be available to everyone, we all knew it is going to be exorbitant and it is going to serve as a form of status symbol for those who could afford it at launch.

I really don't see the issue here, if you can't afford a premium grade Kobe beef steak, you really can't demand the restaurant to lower the prices to a level just so you can afford it.

I'm interested how you manage to have 1 million gil with only mining at 30 and no craft skills levelled at all. Do you just sell Primal runs?

It depends actually. Again, do understand that, If I can do something, it does not mean everyone can. I can get something, does not mean others that can't get it, deserve it.

You do not represent the majority. That's why people are complaining Most people I know have maybe 100k to their name.
