Aren't the housing prices an Auction where the prices continue to drop over time?

Did I miss something? Everyone is complaining but i'm pretty sure the prices we are seeing are the high prices for any FC who wants to snag a certain house before it is purchased by another FC. These likely will drop substantially. Right?

They stop dropping after half price and it takes 90 earth days for this to happen.

Unless I was miss told the price drops to only 50% of the actual cost........ So that's why everyone is pissed.

They will drop substantially, but 1) over a long period of time and 2) with a predetermined lower limit of roughly half the original price. The math in the patch notes is wrong; given the numbers they listed in the example, it comes out to ~0.14% per 6 hours instead of 14% every 6 hours - an enormous difference.

So a 6 million house will still be 3 million which is 10 times the money I have on me at the moment.
and it various and is really bad on legacy servers. that's why. if houses dropped down to like 20% then I think there would be less complaining.
