So, Aesthetician won't allow you to change eye color after all?

Like the patch notes stated:

Available Services
The following is a list of customization options available from the aesthetician:Hair style / hair color / eye brows / lip color / facial features (scars, etc.) / tattoos / tattoo colors / earrings / earring colors / face paint / face paint colors

It does not state anything about eye color while they said it would be included in some live letter: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...808-23-2013%29

Sure it's a minor thing, but still a disappointment if this isn't a typo in the patch notes.

In the BETA forums a community rep told me that I would be able to change my eye color with barber shop. Apparently not.

Yoshida stated this in a live letter before, that implementing it will be difficult, but that they would be working on it in the future (something of that nature). This was two or three letters ago.

I'm fairly certain he said that in one of the live letters.

I dont consider this a Lie. If you read the Live Letter Transcript they said there MIGHT be Eye color customization. They said they were considering it because there are "Color contact lenses in the real world" so it might have been possible.

Looks like they couldn't swing it. So, yeah.

No, it was. I have a picture of it too..I'll see if I can find it. The cactus community rep replied directly to me saying "You will be able to change eye color as well in the barber shop" in fact they confirmed it MULTIPLE times.

We can't. That was a lie. I changed my post though cuz I didn't want to seem mean but it is what it is....so, yeah. :P

It isn't -that- big of a deal I suppose...I could always just use my fantasia lol but still, I don't like it when they say one thing and then its entirely different.

He didn't lie about it... I knew they weren't going to implement it so I didn't look forward to it. Maybe you missed information somewhere.

I was really looking forward to have quite a few change options like facial features, eyes etc but I guess I have to use a Fantasia to correct such a minor issue .____.;
Thought it was more like a character re-creator without the option to race/gender/namechange..

Y'know, they're free to make decisions on their own and all. But this reasoning, if it really was their reasoning, makes no sense. They're all customization options in the char creation/fantasia/retainer UIs. I really can't fathom that it was just oh so difficult to include eye color. That's just weird. xD

Doesn't look like you will get to change face markings for mithra either.
