Ok...Either SE fails in math or I fail in math.
The Devaluation Timer
The price of a plot of land is set to be reduced 14% every six hours.
Example:
Small
- Starting Price: 8,000,000 gil
- 10 Days Later: 7,552,000 gil
- 15 Days Later: 7,328,000 gil
- 30 Days Later: 6,656,000 gil
- 90 Days Later: 3,698,000 gil
* The price will reduce a maximum of 360 times in 90 days and will will fall to half its starting price.
I've done the calculations, so, from 8 mil to 7.552 mil after 10 days, that is 5.9% reduction and yet, it was stated 14% reduction every 6 hours. 14% of 8 million is 7,017,543 after 6 hours. How can it be 14% when it's also state that it will fall to half of it's starting price in 90 days over 360 times.
This is a very mixed up post about the prices the reduction % costs. So, I'll take my 14% please or it's false advertising. Remember SE, you're fond of your legal terms of agreements, so therefore, follow through on that 14% reduction every 6 hours.
