Don't forget the part about the pets that could potentially destroy SMN for good. Where Obey does the same as Steady.

Haha, "destroy SMN for good." Do you actually play SMN? Do you know how Obey and Steady work, or what they're used for? This statement demonstrates that you are getting up in arms over absolutely nothing, or that you are not actually reading the patch notes properly before you take to the forums to complain.
The change is a GOOD thing, not a nerf. Obey is a command, Steady is a stance. All they did is make it so that placing the pet into Steady and using the Obey command (which Scholars do all the time to let them micromanage the fairy's buffs), and then issuing another command of any kind, won't automatically put it back to Guard mode where the AI starts using certain abilities again. Thus allowing people who micromanage their pets to do so more effectively without having to fight the AI every time.
