Im and old dragon from FFXI and i can only say: "Plz get me my pet back". I cant stand it without my little wyvern.

It be base of the version from FF2 no pet they said before that they don't want any Pet class as of now. Which this is sad was talking to a friend and pretty much he had a good point.

They don't care about the FFXI players joining FFXIV if they did they would make the class how it was in ffxi but with a new idea to make it FFXIV. They said this over and over you like ffxi? then stay in ffxi that why we still running that game and updating it. If they really want to make this in to somewhat FFXI they would have done that from day 1 not come up with Class that make no sense to any of the Final fantasy history.

When blizzard new MMO come out and everyone leave for it and this game become 1mil or below players and ffxi is dead they would go s*** let's try and make this into ffxi so our ffxi hardcore fans would come to it and let's make this little less casual because you know all the casual are no playing blizzard new mmo. This if FFXIV ever even get more then 2mil players to start with.

Yoshi-p and tanaka both should not be running this game Tanaka try to make ffxiv into a new game never before seen then mess it up. Yoshi-p go on making this game more and more casual even more no with the leve becoming pointless to party you making this into a pointless Solo game and only meet up for dumb dungeon wtf? really?

ok this is extremely off topic but first Titan (blizzards new MMO) will be a niche game, its and FPS MMO so i wouldn't worry about it pulling away the MMORPG players.

Second lowering leve link bonus but adding on completion SP is not killing the ability to effectively group for leves, not to mention the addition of group content that also rewards sp. Leves where always meant to cater to the casual so nothing is really changing.

Third SE has already stated they will be adding a pet class in the future but right now they have issues they need to work out to do so, not sure if this is still on the agenda since Yoshi took over but I dont see why they wouldn't add a pet class. I never really seen a dragoon as much of a pet class even in XI since the pet was not the main focus of the class.

I favor the DoM classes, but Lancer is my prefered DoW class. I never played dragoon. In FFXI i played mage classes. I was a red mage before red mages were cool.

All that being said. I have always loved pet classes in general. FFXI, EQ, EQII, EQOA, I loves petclasses in all of these.

You have no ides how much I await pets in XIV. I have developed interest in LNC and DRG to the point that I feel it would be my prefered class.

Unless of coarse we get Bard. Thats my top class choice. They need to make Bards with a beast charm. Music does tame the savage beast after all. EQOA mastered the manner in which to give bards the ability to charm. I would love to see a similar idea here. Otherwise I am going the path of whatever mellee type class can have a pet.
