    Also dat hidden Bane nerf! Extended dots was our huge surprise proc weapon. It seems we're not allowed to have great procs since BLM is the job for that...
    The thunder drop is somewhat annoying but I could have lived with that but not in trade-off with a cheap Tri-Disaster clone!

    I really don't know why they hurt Summoners this badly while they finally recovered by the bad dps stigma, they just get a new one from all the qq threads in the forums.
    Our reputation will fall through the floor! ( which wasn't that high to begin with)
    they didnt nerf bane,they fixed it...if u read well it says that dont reset countdown ifthe current is higher than max one so after a contagion,now sometime if u have 40 second on a dot if bane restore countdown u loose contagion bonus on adds

    oh and now Shadowflare broke bind so...no more SF death with bind

    While 20+ CC might only mean a 3% increase it's still a HUGE loss. I can't make up that gear elsewhere unless I make a second set of Astral Gear with CC in it?

    So frustrated right now especially since I recently passed on other Allagan gear for the Allagan boots that I believed to be my BiS (after 4 weeks of Coils hunting to get them). And while this won't make me stop playing the class I've loved since FF3, it takes the winds off my sails. Thank you SE for strange attempts at "balance".

    If you're talking about a stat change, not even ilvl loss, on an offpiece of armor, as if it will destroy your dps, you are completely wrong.

    If I had lost my boots altogether, as in, my boots just vanished.

    I would still do more damage if I had my goddamn thunder back.

    You should be far more worried about that.

    EDIT:

    Doing some napkin math here, thunder was roughly 2400 potency over 180 seconds. Losing thunder, and instead casting ruin in the 9 GCDs that we save (remember: Contagion, we actually should only spend ~8 GCDs casting thunder, but lets be on the safe side), loses us roughly 9.2 pps.

    Considering summoners have a rough pps of 123.6 including pet, we're losing around 7.5% dps just from losing thunder.

    Your 3% crit (which btw, is closer to 2% crit, or roughly 1% damage increase) is nowhere near that.

    Don't get me wrong, I use thunder in my rotation (the loss of it makes no sense, as per my previous post, and wrecks my dps), when I have the chance to do so. But as I've said it's a luxury and lower on the priority list if I have to say bane gaols in titan, gtfo of red stuff, spread my spreadable dots in T4/Conflag/etc (thunder cannot be spread). But crit chance loss is large because it affects Ruin spam (which crits often for me), dot crits (confirmation required but I think they do crit), fester crits, our pets crits, and the times that Enhanced Pet Actions proc (+spell speed), etc.

    i can accept the loss of thunder if all other dots has increased duration to 30,replace the dmg,simplify rotations and saves mana (used to spam ruin2 for using gcd for other spells)

    Summoner Nerfs

    These changes were made to balance the upcoming PvP aspect of the game. They're nerfing other classes balance PvP, while disrupting the current balance in PvE. I honestly think that there aren't enough people in this game who will go as hard in PvP as they do in PvE, so why balance it at all? Just seems pointless to me.
