I'm disgusted with the bard nerf.

The above analysis should really only be done if there's at least some sort of math done to calculate the dps loss of a tp starved melee class.

Assuming dps loss of 30, your conclusion will be "ehhh the dps loss minimal, off with the bards!!".
Assuming dps loss of 150, your conclusion will be "that's alot of dps loss, bards are important!!".

So any math savvy min-maxing hardcore mathematician wanna help to calculate the theoretical dps loss over a 10 min fight for melee dpsers?

Anyways I think people does get where I am pointing at, it doesn't probably need any major tweak either. I was probably just irked that they short changed our weapon damage increment by 1WD this patch.

And maybe do something about Rain of Death. The silly One Ilm Punch have a use in PvP, I wonder what use do we really have for Rain of Death's effect lol. I mean, people DO cap accuracy right (don't be bad )

i keep seeing people say bard is the easiest class to play. no class is hard to play but i also see a bunch of people go into bard thinking it's so easy and they're always out dps'd by a bard that knows what they're doing. any fight without breaks that's actually a fairly long fight you'll see how annoying being a bard can be if you want to do the highest dps possible. it's no easier than any other class.

lol, Bard is my main but i play more as blm and Ninja now, Bard is by miles far the easiest of all classes. Have you even played melee or blm?
Anyhow yes super old thread but to the original topic i agree nerf was a bit much and there has even been talk of another nerf (just a rumour at this point)

Well our group is in second coil and not final coil (T8) and i go as either blm or Ninja and am one that would rather have team members get gear before i do,
besides that is not at all relevant to what i have said in which Bard is the easiest class to play.
How often does one need to cancel dps to move out of aoe and such as Bard?
This was not even part of the main discussion btw that op started, if at all i think Bard should have a slight buff, more so when playing Mage's Ballad

Help in healer dps maybe? for free time such as T10's after all adds are dead, or T11's Nerve Gas time. But the 200 TP cost seems extremely steep to even consider using it, but that's the best I can come up with for usefulness of RoD.
