I'm looking forward to housing

Personally I think this is what the game needed. Housing is now going to be in the game and while everyone can work on getting a house, it wont just be handed out to players. FC housing shouldn't be for everyone and honestly its not game breaking to not have an FC house. Players can still play the game, participate in dungeons, and clear main scenarios without a house.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. While I respect a lot of people on the forums right now are upset with the prices, I feel like this is going to breathe some life into the game.

This is something I can look forward to doing with my FC now.
Whether we purchase a small, medium, or large plot. My FC is going to enjoy it.

I'm in a small FC with 7 or 8 real life friends and we will never be able to get an FC house. Ever. The cheapest land is 20 million gil on our server. After 3 months it will be 10 million. We can't afford that and we never will be able to. Square Enix proves, yet again, how bad they are at making design decisions for their game. The proper way to price things would have been to make the smaller plots of land very cheap and then increase prices exponentially for the larger plots. That way large FCs can still work towards getting a giant house, while small FCs at least get something so everyone can enjoy the content. Gating it by how rich you are is just a poor decision by a seemingly more incompetent team. I'm sorry, but Yoshi-P made an awful design decision with this system. Absolutely terrible.

It's not that much if you are actively making money, even on non-legacy I've made 2 mil over the course of 2 weeks quite easily. If all your members did that you could afford your fc house in 2-3 weeks.

Why shouldn't FC housing be for everyone? There are a lot of people that don't want to be in 500 person FCs, our FC has 42 people. We should waste 10 million gil to buy the equivalent of a single person mog house from XI? How is that even remotely "fun"?

It's a sandbox, and they made it ridiculously restrictive for what purpose?

I'm glad I didn't care about housing to begin with. To me it's just a small zone you can't really do much but look at and gives a small bonus of exp or stats that probably in the long haul wont make a huge difference. It's fluff from the get go, I'm happy about the new dungeons though.

Really? Are you kidding me? FC HOUSING IS AN ACHIEVEMENT!! Just because you and you FC has to put in effort TOGETHER to achieve something such as gil towards housing while the price is dropping over time we're going to argue its not open to everyone? f'en really?

This is not a casual or hardcore argument. The only thing they have asked for is a serous effort by everyone in your FC to achieve a goal rather just those fews people who took tim to level a crafter or gathering to cover themselves.

But no its not a hand me down so its apparently impossible for everyone to get.

what gets me is that this isnt even player housing. Thats where everyone can get it, though its still going to have to be content to which you need to achieve.
