How excited are you for 2.1 after the Housing prices reveal?

I don't PVP and don't care about housing, besides that I have only 1 lv 50 job so I have better things to do than worry about 2.1 for now. I can't even make up my mind about what job I want to play lol

personaly i wasnt even interested in housing but the way they handled this whole situation is imo just disgusting. not to mention all the nerfs and lock outs on all the content. are you kidding me? as it is this game is now worse than f2p game, since in a f2p you would probably lift all the locks and gil grinding through a sub.


i still have 8 days left on my sub so ill check the pve and pvp content. i dont expect i will be subing after that. and if i do it is going to be for a single month at most.

se is a japanese company and as such i think more than a western company they are stuck in this mentality that they dont need to listen to the fans or try to please them at all. se know everything better after all. well good luck with that i say

Amazingly, ARR was meant to get people to sub again and people rejoiced about it. Now people just complain and tell others to get out already, maybe people just prefer the ghost town ffxiv 1.xx was.

The people whining and threatening to quit are by and large the very people who preferred the ghost town 1.xx was. Whether or not they make good on their threats will be of little consequence.

Why do people continue to make this claim? When have the devs ever said anything other than "FC housing is going to cost a lot of money and it's going to require the cooperation of everyone in your FC to collect it"?

Yes, the prices are high. No one ever said they wouldn't be. Are they too high? Maybe they are. That doesn't mean nothing will ever change. If you're not happy about them being as high as they are, say so. But the vitriol being spewed forth by this community is absolutely ridiculous (and I'm not referring to the post I quoted when I talk about vitriol).
