I will be hated for this.

When I heard the news for housing, I immediately thought of Ultima Online and Log Horizon. Polar thoughts as far as mmos (and mmo in media are concerned).

In these worlds, housing and housing for guilds is treated as a place to leave your collective legacy. Let's all be honest, MMOs today are glorified single-player games. No longer are they places where you need each other to get by; where you forge family-esque bonds. This game COULD very well be a place that gives you that feeling of unity when you finally get that deed. This game COULD finally be the place where you get ticked off if someone tries to slander your FCs good name. This game COULD finally be a place where we create and remember stories other than "I ran WP with a competent SMN, ill remember that guy".

In 14 housing is ridiculously expensive. I ardently agree. But if this is the legacy of our beloved FCs, then shouldn't be something worth striving towards (that takes longer than 3 weeks *cough Myth gear cough*)?

Good point honestly, but 625 mil is seriously extreme. I wouldn't be surprised if people just switched servers for lower house prices.
