I don't really care about gobbues anyway. drake, behemot, magiteck and legacy chocobo are all i need.

I was under the impression these mounts were strictly for the beastmen daily quests considering in one of the videos you see them actually doing attacks. Similar to the Magitek from Praetorium

Notes also list them as reward for high reputation with tribes. Together with minions

Bad reference. The Magitek mount was obtained and usable outside the duty almost immediately after that when the quest was completed. I expect the beast tribe mounts to be the same.
