    Storm's Path

    So Storm's Path is being changed to reduce target damage by 10%.

    What we don't know is how long.

    So... anybody know?

    I expect it to be either 15 secs (the same duration as the SE debuff and the base duration of Maim) or 21 seconds (the traited duration of Maim) so that it can be maintained with 100% or near 100% uptime (depending upon rotation) like the PLD debuff.

    I would expect it to be 20 seconds. That allows you to use it as every second combo to keep it up constantly, or every 3rd combo and have it down for 5 seconds between applications.

    Funny, by making Storm's Path this good, they have simply swapped the combos that don't get used, 11% more damage done by the tank (who doesn't need the extra hate and who doesn't really care about damage for IB anymore) or 10% less damage received. I know which one I will be using.

    Depending on duration of the debuff though, this will change most people's combo rotations a fair bit.

    As has already been said, I think it'll be 15-20 seconds and a case of switching between either Storm's Path or Storm's Eye debuff for tanking situations, then applying both when not needing the enmity; (either far ahead on enmity or not wanting attention on you).

    Presuming that the changes to enmity in 2.1 aren't so absurd that you can keep hate with only 1 out of 3 rotations being BB of course.

    Im just happy that it wont be so useless. I'll still use storm's eye (slash -) for my other tank. after you've established threat you can pretty easily keep threat with your maim and storms combo

    I'm glad they've effectively moved Rain of death's utility onto Warrior.

    Not only will Bard's DPS and TP consumption not suffer, but it becomes even more important to have a Paladin/Warrior combo.

    All the changes so far excite me except for Summoner's. It encourages having a diverse group of classes in a party, especially with that limit break building nerf.

    It would be most likely 20seconds since Bard got nerfed on Rain of Death. Rain of Death now is totally going off the Hotbar for them, cause most people already capped accuracy and the additional effect ain't going to help at all.

    Even if they give it a 6 second duration, you can pretty much weave that in between IB's, vengeance and all your other CD suites making for a constant stream of DR. i guess now it'll be easier not just on tanks getting healed but for the concentration of other jobs that have to pay attention to timing virus.

    i can see the jokes coming now "I get to punch IB every time its up and guess what, it won't interrupt my SP rotation so i can pretty much have a "baby" rampart every other rotation"
