I know that it's a subject they don't like to talk about too much since nothing will be ready for 2.1 but I really wish Yoshida would stop avoiding the question of when we can expect new jobs.

Right now I'm sporting 4 50s, and the rest 30 and I really don't *like* any job. I don't hate them either... but I have to wonder just how long it will be before I can expect a new job that I may potentially actually enjoy playing. There was a question that got 65 up votes in the Q/A for the producer live and the question was asked several times over again in the same thread.

I want to enjoy playing the game, but it's so hard to get the motivation being stuck on a class that I don't really like. There is so much conflicting information out there on IF we will get new jobs before an expansion and nothing solid on what we will be getting in the first place. I am almost capped on myth and phil and I really don't care enough about any of the classes I'm playing on to spend =(

If seen his one interview some time ago it will before a expansion DL. I would place my money on the new jobs launching during the PS4 launch with a level cap increase of 55. It only makes sense. So april.

Don't expect it in April. Seriously, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

Expect about a year out before new classes are revealed. Even if Yoshida wants to add new classes, he's a month and a half behind schedule on development as it is. Additional delays are likely.

Soulscare's got it right. I've never seen an MMO even begin talking about a new job before the first expansion, let alone this early. Its like wondering why the weatherman isn't telling us when to expect 80 degree weather when winter has only just started.

Apparently, Yoshi-P said that new jobs could be released in major patches instead of expansions. So you never know. We could see a new job in 2.2.
