I am sorry for my WHM brethren out there for your loss. But boy am I happy about the Lustrate buff!
Time to go full cleric stance all the time! ; P

Pets were fixed/improved in 2.05 and are getting more fixes/improvements in 2.1. Meanwhile WHM got nothing but a kick in a gut, and there hasn't been a day when SCH actually needed to play catch-up. During the beta there was a thread about how OP ACN was. If I were a pure numbers person and didn't struggle with pet management myself (not to mention thousands of myth invested into WHM), god knows I would change over. We're on a very troubling trajectory with this overall nerf. It's kinda funny how this attitude is omnipresent now given back when XIV was first released, it was all the SCHs crying that the SE dev team favoured WHMs and literally almost nothing has changed from then to now except people learned how to play SCH more proficiently.
Heck I actually like the Medica II change. Same amount of overall healing, but spread out so I both gain hate slower and have more time with it up.

The Holy nerf is fine, I suppose. I'll admit it was very powerful because stuff like a decent tank and Mage's Ballad could remove the few drawbacks it had. That said, it's still going to be a very good AoE, though I'm sure we'll all miss the ~17% potency nerf of it. I'm also curious what the new animations/motions of it are like, assuming the patch notes aren't pulling my leg.
Cure III is still going to be fairly situational, even with the radius increase. I don't particularly care about the Overcure proc change, seeing as I never liked random procs as a healer anyway. Overall, the changes seem to be aimed at usability, what with the halved mana cost (during an Overcure proc, of course) reducing the punishment of misusing it and extra radius making it easier to hit several targets, just the way it was intended to be used.
The Medica II change is probably intended to solidify it as one of those AoE heals you cast once in a blue moon to complement your plain Medica. Can't say that I like it, though. Being changed from a fairly powerful Regen effect to a trickling Regen effect will need some time to adjust to. :/
medica 2 is still as potent as before, its actually a buff, since now you dont get as amuch aggro using it since the first regen tick wont be so much.
I completely didn't think about that but your point about cleric stance is a good one. Between being able to macro fairy skills and lustrate, we almost will never have to switch off clerics stance while farming dungeons for tomes. XD
I'm indifferent for all the changes ... except the holy nerf.
I am confused about the changes
I mean I found my SCH already easier and more powerful to play than my WHM and the pet and lustrate changes only make the SCH even more powerful for end game (unless they did something totally weird and new with how bosses work in the new content..)
Cure III is still super situational. First you need everyone clumped up and those situations are not found often (Titan, Garuda, Coil T5) and in those situations I still prefer Medica II. Not to mention you have to hope that Cure II Triggers for Cure III the exact right moment.
Holy nerf is ok in my opinion.

Holy nerfed is called for, it's still a powerful skill.
MedicaII becoming niche skill, worse for topping off AoE burst like Garuda/Titan but it might be better in T2 for keeping party HP from oneshotted by laser. Altho I don't really know if the new potency will be enough to actually do that.
CureII triggers for CureIII is not really interesting, even with halved MP it stills about the same as CureII with less potency and I don't expected the situation where I throwing CureII to be in need of AoE heal CureIII.
All in all, i thinks i should try dual scholar in coil already.

Its a nerf 15 second of double potency is waaaay better for how SE have designed content.
400 ticks for 15 seconds vs 200hp tick over 30 seconds. In 15 seconds you heal 1000 hp more.
LoL brainlessely spam medica 2... New medica2 is way more "brainless", you keep it up for its piddly hot. Which acts like a top-upper for those at 90%. Saving the need for casting an extra medica/succor.
Healing-wise yep im thinking dual sch is way easier now . But 1 thing thats penalizing it is SE have made this dumb change...All in all, i thinks i should try dual scholar in coil already.
When multiple characters are playing the same class/job in a party, the gauge for level 2 and level 3 limit breaks will now fill more slowly than before.

Free Cure was nerfed, which is kinda odd cuz Whm are the ones with MP issues.
Cure III was buffed but I'm still having trouble seeing how this will make it any more not useless. Guess we'll see.
Medica II was nerfed but, honestly, its a very minor one.
Holy is the biggest nerf, though it kinda needed it. Its too bad there are so many Whms who did not learn the beauty of Holy before its nerf.
