I don't think anyone is supposed to compete with these prices. Its just a trap by SE to get the RMT vendors. Which will in truth do nothing. Its poorly thought out and just a flat out horrible execution to something that many people where greatly looking forward to. Myself and my FC included. We'd been saving up as much gil as we could scrounge together and save up being a new and fairly small FC based of just friends. But there is no way we can ever amass the kind of money they want even for a small house. We all have jobs and lives outside of this game. It's ridiculous.
