in other words, people should just forget about FC housing, and save their money for personal housing, which should be out by the time you can afford the FC house anyway.
GG yoshi
625 million? Tell me this is on a legacy server only....
No one has even close to that much money on my server.
I doubt any FC does.
I don't mind seeing such prices for the biggest mansions on the best cottages. That gives long-term objectives to the people who want them.
Now, I find the smallest houses to be quite a bit (too) expensive to my taste.
I would have prefered cheaper entry prices so that more people can enjoy housing to an extent, and the same prices for the most expensive for really hardcore players.
Good, this is what a solid gold sink should look like.

So anyone think they should scale the amount of gil you can earn from things like quests and dungeons, based on this server list they released? I mean if your on a server where its very expensive then you should be able to earn more gil, then someone that's on the cheapest server. I know the figures they came up with was based on what gil was already on all servers, but still, that does nothing to help new players out, imo. I'm really confused, they acted like this was going to really help out crafters making gils, once 2.1 hit. But hows that going to work out, with not many people bothering with it right now? Crazy we were all looking forward to this, hoping to hop right in during 2.1, but now we can't, now they expect us to do more mindless grinding for the next 3 months, before we can enjoy something in the game.
Yeah just made the math, and came about 0.99856031 (translated to % would be 0.144ish)
Dumb anyway, a TON of typos and just poorly pasted text in the patch notes. Like... to the max. I don't understand how these people can overlook that.
edit: p.s.: Lol... the remix song in your ADS video xD Nice ^^

And it gets worst, according to yoshi p's comment that a person can make 20k a day off the "new gil aqcuisition" for a combat class.
Putting it into a little bit of perspective -
8 man party 20k a day
= 160,000 as a group daily
= 4,800,000 a month
= 14,400,000 in yoshi Ps 3 month estimate
now... for the cheapest grade server this might seem reasonable, BUT, this value does not scale where housing prices do fo us on the higher grade prices. For the JP legacy servers they have to do the same work for about a year to get the same content? Very unreasonable.
50 man FC
1 mil a day
30 mil a month
120 3 months
Just by accomplishing a daily grind and devoting 100% of your profits... thats a little much
lol same... I thought my contribution of 100k was gonna get somewhere >.>
I do see a point to all of this though, even though the numbers are HORRENDOUSLY SKEWED. They don't want people getting a prime house day one. I feel SE wants people to see housing as a long term goal, but they have made it a RIDICULOUSLY long term goal.
In addition, some players were clamoring for less hand outs. It looks like SE listened >.>
