It's a luxury item. it's NOT needed, and you obviously don't have to build the biggest house in the best land.

This is a long term investment, right now gil doesn't serve a purpose other than repairing gear, this will serve as a purpose for gil, if your FC is small, 4-8m for a house on most servers isn't that much for a group of people, people are threating this as personal housing, which is not.

625m on some legacy servers can look like it's overboard but MANY people have 10-15m lying around and rich ones have up to hundreds of millions, now, whether they want to spend it on a house or not is another different issue.

It kind of baffles me how many people are crying like little kids because they can't have it all right here, right now.

Housing is also a way to give your FC a name/reputation/whatever, making it so every FC, even the 1-5 person only (which seems to be like 90% of the people whining) is able to buy a medium-big house, would take it away from it.

the FC I am in has over 100 members in its list.

These prices are insane, and is discriminatory to an anyone that deigned to play on a legacy server, painting us all with the same brush, when our economies are suffering from lack of crafted items that are relevant to high level play.

and this was a highly advertised feature, with its own systems and ways to design the place. People were really looking forward to it. But not now.

now everyone in every FC sees only the price, and greedy devs that seem to punish regular players for the affluence of another.

Yes, actually, it does.

The housing is *supposed* to be where people can actually have things like retainers, market boards, and the ability to craft all clustered together without having to run around like headless chickens. Without a house, we'll still be stuck having to waste time running between places, not to mention being vulnerable to the next hack that swipes money from people clustered around the retainer bell. Plus the annoyance of being spammed by everyone and their dog crafting there.

That much is just convenience (and a time-saver)... but the FC houses are *also* supposed to get the workshops for airships and such, which unless I've missed something, that is going to be the ONLY way to get that.

- (large houses) - basements with freaking groyp synthesis to build airships and participate in content ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BUILDING AN AIRSHIP IN YOUR LARGE HOUSE

Again, how is a FC House not a luxury thing? You guys cannot differentiate between luxury and necessity.

Not having a house doesn't make you unable to craft, use airships, the market board or whatever, having a house just makes it easier because it's all in the same place. That's it, and you still say this is not a luxury? I don't even.

Sorry. Casual friendly means features that the game hypes up will be obtainable by casuals. This is not the case.

Um no. You build an airship in your FC house as a group, which grants you access to content that can only be accessed by using this airship (not any airship in any city). Content is not a luxury, it's something I pay a monthly sub for.

Is everyone ONLY looking at the large first class plot, or something? 40m (4m on lowest ranked!) max to get a FC house...... there's 15 tiers, and I find it awesome that larger guilds - with more members and monies - can show off their size.
