Being the 50th biggest FC on a server really isnt saying much. Im just saying.
Just my two cents, please note I may be totally off, and I'm not very good with finances/history: I've already seen an increase in gilseller tells on my server. I've also seen an increase of shouts that say things like, "We're saving up for FC funds: *sale* Titan wins 100k cheaper." This worries me. Didn't something similar like this happen with the Great Depression? What I mean by that is, everyone is going to take their money, save it up, and not spend a dime of it. The economy will crash further than it has causing no one to want to buy goods unless they are super cheap.
"HQ Vanya robes here, get your robes here!! Just 25k!! Please sir, I can't afford a home, please buy my robes, sir."

Crafters were told that furniture would save the market, and make everyone gil. But I don't see how that can possibly work. Any FC wealthy enough to buy a house at these prices is going to have crafters in-house to make the furniture. Those at the very edge of being able to purchase aren't going to have the spare gil to spend even if they can't make the items in-house. There's going to be 0 demand for furniture because hardly anyone will be able to flipping use it. The market will be flooded and the prices will be driven further down, which is only going to make it harder for those of us who don't already have the gil to make more gil. Which is going to push the dream of having an FC house even further out of reach than it already is at the moment.Just my two cents, please note I may be totally off, and I'm not very good with finances/history: I've already seen an increase in gilseller tells on my server. I'm worried that prices will drop even more and money making will come to a halt with stipends coming in from RMT. I hope this made some kind of sense--it's just the way I'm thinking it will go if change isn't implemented.
It's really quite depressing.

Just to add to the baffledness I have about this: I just found out that we are the 51st largest FC on Sargatanas and we still can't afford the cheapest house. Keep in mind I have 8m gil so far including some notable donations.
I think we could scrummage together about 12-15m gil if we really yanked at the wallets of our members, but why should all our members have to spend all their gil on this?
doop doop

Anything above small is crazy expensive. But then again this is for FC's and not personal housing. So... I'll just point out that for the prices I see things being sold at (Sold. Not just up for sale) lots of people will have large FC housing on day 1. There is no real reason to not purchase the small plot of land now and sell it to someone else down the road when you have the money to upgrade to the next largest. Even on legacy servers a dozen or two members with money wont notice the dent in funds if they all chipped in for the best house.
TL;DR Meh. Its not personal housing yet. Price of small plot easily attainable.
I might be OK with this if there were any plans to let you move (and resell) when you've outgrown your old place, but no.Anything above small is crazy expensive. Can we build an Medium House on a Small Plot? Or an Small House on an Medium Plot for more Outdoor Furniture?
THE PRICES ARE TOO DAMN HIGH!
Every single person I know on Balmung has less than 700k to their name. Most of us less than 400k. Even if every single person in my FC put our entire wallets into trying to purchase the house we could -barely- scrap together enough for a small house with everyone. This was supposed to be some great thing for FCs to enjoy and have, they've only been waving this carrot in front of our noses since relaunch only to yank it away and laugh with prices like these. This seems something more along the lines of a poor joke. Hopefully they will realize how absolutely stupid this pricing is and drop it by 80% or more.

They should introduce alliance with this patch. at least FCs can merge and share one house. There are many FC out there that can't afford even a small house now.
Honestly, I thought they may introduce another system besides paying gil. Forexample company seals or allagan gold could be used as an alternative to gil. but they just had to go and ruin the fun!

I hear alot of Legacy people are planning now to move out to new servers and they will divide the FC money among thenselves so they can carry it to the new servers. this way they will get the best houses. Our legacy servers will be empty soon ^^;
SE doesn't have the server capacity to host a house for every FC.
