It is not only the legacy servers. 100 million on a new fresh EU server is way too high. I do not know the average size of a proper FC, but if we would say it is 50 people you would still need every member to chip in 2 million. Well I know for sure that 80% of my FC does not have 2 million.

FC housing coming first was actually a good thing. Hopefully they'll get back to their senses before they release personal housing.

So much for nonlegacy players getting into housing.

My husband played 1.0 before we met. He brought me to FFxiv emphasizing FC housing. So we started our own and grind the ranks out by ourselves. We both expected the housing to be expensive. This is simply unobtainable for someone like myself that has had to earn the gil I have over the past few months.

I am very discouraged and he is unsubscribing us if something doesn't change.

Only the elite few can afford housing; the mansions.

Small plots do not sell because 20mil for a tool shed is stupid.

Crafters flood the market with furnishings... hardly anything sells because the elite few that have houses already have all DoH and DoL maxed. That's how they got the majority of their gil to begin with.

The masses who thought all they had to look forward to was housing end their subscriptions.
