    Allagan lv95 no stat change means?

    Q29: With the change in the item level for weapons from the Binding Coil of Bahamut will the stats also be changed?

    A29: The weapons will only have their item level increase by five and the stats will not be changed. We will, however, be making adjustments to some stats on the armor that can be obtain in the Binding Coil of Bahamut.
    Does it mean that stats won't be increased or only that stat types (skill speed, determinations) won't change but stat itself will be increased?

    i.e. A weapon with Crit and DTR will still have those same stats but the cap will be raised 3-4 points due to higher item level.

    So, the way I read that is the iLvl of the weapons will go to 95 and their stats won't be changed, but that the armor is remaining iLvl 90 and in order to make the weapon an iLvl 95, they will reduce the stats of the armor and bump the stats of ilvl 90 lower than it currently is.


    A29: The weapons ... stats will not be changed. ... however, ... adjustments to some stats on the armor ....

    They mentioned that some of the allagan pieces are identical to the myth counterparts- they're saying they're going to change the specific secondary stats on allagan pieces that are currently identical to myth pieces.

    Just people confusing themselves. Some Myth Items and their Allagan counterparts had the exact same stats. Healer Allagan Pants and Scholar Myth Pants for example, exactly the same. Few other pieces here and there as well. This is getting changed. The weapons are being bumped to ilvl 95 and that brings stat boosts just from the higher ilvl. When they said the stats on the weapons aren't changing, as others have said, it means the stats won't change to DIFFERENT stats.

    If that's the case, they need to reword that answer. For someone who wasn't watching the live stream and relying on the Q&A, it's very misleading.

    Going only by that information regarding the weapons, it tells us that the weapon's stats (DMG/AA/STR/INT/DEX/etc.) all remain the same, as in +10 will still be +10 despite the weapon having a higher item level since no mention was made about increasing the parameters of the stat. Should it be infered that the parameters will change due to the ilvl increase? It should but more clarity was needed in the answer regarding weapons so as to not have people assume. The bit about armor changes on the other hand was fine however part of the confusion has to deal with nomenclature and people not being on the same page with the reps as far was what stats refers to specifically.
