If you have a squad lv max. You can do on lv1-50 dungeons with npcs and not with players but you need seals for that.

Hi
I think the OP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ this thread.

"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
Holy necro thread, Batman
But for anyone who does feel like the OP and is frustrated with not being able to progress in crafting and gathering without adventuring, EQII doesn't have this limitation. It was very fun to sneak around high level areas as a low level adventurer but a high level gatherer. The only drawbacks there are that nodes are shared among everyone instead of being personal and you're limited in your classes so you need alts.
Based on the OP's comments about ESO, I don't think they're trolling. ESO is fantastic. I love the fact that I can go through content solo. I also love the fact that the dungeons aren't instanced, and you can simply run into random players while you're doing it. However, I feel as if the reason ESO's adventuring style is done this way, is because it's based off of a series of single player games, and is the first multiplayer installment. Where as FFXIV is not SE's first online multiplayer game. FFXIV is purely multiplayer. It's not really a game that you can get through solo, and that's intentional. I personally love being put in dungeon encounters with random people. It helps me be more sociable, and it allows me to meet awesome people along the way. Sure, you're going to have some bad experiences in dungeons, but that's to be expected. It's just like life. Not everyone you say hello to as you're walking down the street will want to return your greeting. I can understand why the OP dislikes this, but I have to disagree with the statement "SE has ruined this experience". This is a gaming experience meant for interacting with other players. If you don't like it, you can't really blame the developers for your lack of interest to engage in the content. If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine. That doesn't mean it's a poorly designed game.

WilhelmWhite:
FFXIV is not purely multi-player - no Quest Hub MMO is.
The biggest reason why people try to Power Level to max level is to skip the [predominantly] single player leveling experience and get to social gaming (where the majority of players are huddled in any MMO older than a year or so), which is literally the only reason to play FFXIV over The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
ESO's community is much better than in this game, as well. I felt a lot more welcome there than in FFXIV, where you're simply ignored... even after joining most Free Companies. They're incredibly cliquey. I used to complain about this in WoW, but the FFXIV player base takes this to a completely different stratosphere. It really turned me off from the game, among other things (like the ridiculous queue times - honestly the worst I've ever experienced in an MMO on DPS -or- healer).

If people hate Dungeons based mmo they should try maybe something like Morrowin Online, not as much repetition, a few dungeons here and there, some big some short, however it is a lot harder and will really begin to understand how easy they have it in FF series.
You my friend with these types of comments are the reason a lot of people have nothing but bad things to say about the community. I get MMO's are a great place for people lacking social skills but maybe you should worry less about someones opinion of a game and more about that..
lil friendly .02 cents for ya.
There are many different types of players in the game and many people who have different phobias. I do not agree with people negatively putting someone down or telling them to leave because they have a request to make the game more enjoyable (from their perspective). Everyone has an opinion and everyone has a choice whether to kick someone to the ground when they express this opinion, or pick them back up. Again, everyone has a choice. I hope the OP finds some enjoyment and meets wonderful people in this game.
I thought the core of this game was talking in various chats doing whatever random task you would like to do. I spend a day doing triple triad, chocobo racing, GATE's and my daily cactpot. Oh LalaCouch on Hyperion for Jumbo Saturdays. I think I have done one Savage Raid. A1S and that was just purely for light during 3.5. Oh and fates... love that stuff. I have my friendly chocobo who is incredibly loyal and never talks back. I give him some carrots from time to time but otherwise he is just content to be pecking. He does die sometimes but greens cures all of that and he never tells me how much I suck while I demolish, twin snakes, and dragon kick my way to Mantra.
Depends on the player. There's plenty of ways to play, and one isn't less valid than the other (unless you're like, breaking rules or something).I thought the core of this game was talking in various chats doing whatever random task you would like to do. So our thread necromancer can play the game mostly solo if he wants. He just has to get through some one time instances, but as mentioned repeatedly, then he never has to return. And everyone else is free to use instances as much or as little (barring the one time clears) as they like.
