Based on the OP's comments about ESO, I don't think they're trolling. ESO is fantastic. I love the fact that I can go through content solo. I also love the fact that the dungeons aren't instanced, and you can simply run into random players while you're doing it. However, I feel as if the reason ESO's adventuring style is done this way, is because it's based off of a series of single player games, and is the first multiplayer installment. Where as FFXIV is not SE's first online multiplayer game. FFXIV is purely multiplayer. It's not really a game that you can get through solo, and that's intentional. I personally love being put in dungeon encounters with random people. It helps me be more sociable, and it allows me to meet awesome people along the way. Sure, you're going to have some bad experiences in dungeons, but that's to be expected. It's just like life. Not everyone you say hello to as you're walking down the street will want to return your greeting. I can understand why the OP dislikes this, but I have to disagree with the statement "SE has ruined this experience". This is a gaming experience meant for interacting with other players. If you don't like it, you can't really blame the developers for your lack of interest to engage in the content. If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine. That doesn't mean it's a poorly designed game.
